Capturing a friend’s wedding day is always a little more special for me. Gillian and I grew up playing hockey together and stayed friends throughout high school and university, when she started dating Jake. Fast forward a few years later to their beautiful wedding day full of special moments, one of my favourites being their private vows on the docks at the Elk Lake Eco Centre. After their private moment together, they joined their family and closest friends for an intimate outdoor ceremony boasting a view of the river and fall colours. As soon as I noticed the bride with a 1-gallon glass of red wine during the reception, I knew we were in for a big party! An awesome live band played the night away, with all of the guests pulling out their best moves on the dance floor!
