A little note before the holidays
As the year winds down, I’ve been thinking a lot about what it means to truly 'be home' for the holidays. Whether your home is chaotic or perfectly still, I hope you find the space to breathe, connect, and simply enjoy the people right in front of you. And please—take the photos, but make sure you’re actually in them, too.
This year, my perspective has shifted. Losing my grandma earlier this year reminded me how fleeting our traditions can be. It’s made me realize that the photos we take aren't just images—they are anchors. They are the proof that we were here, that we loved, and that we belonged to one another.
In that spirit, I’m making a choice to be truly present this season, soaking in the quiet (and loud!) moments with my own family. Before I step away, I wanted to share a few highlights from our recent holiday sessions below. There is something so quintessentially "home" about a Northern Ontario winter—the evergreens heavy with snow and the crisp air that brings out those genuine, rosy-cheeked smiles.
Thank you for an unforgettable year. May your season be full of presence and peace. Merry Christmas!
